Georg Rauch : Drawings

Drawings, whether from a model or his fantasy, have always been the basis for Rauch's oil paintings. They represent the transformation of a three dimensional object or the vague images of his imagination onto a two dimensional surface - the piece of paper. Rauch considers these drawings, the first inspiration, to be the most creative aspect of his art.
